Spring 2017 Cooking Class started with homemade lemonade and lemonade-champagne cocktails. For the first course, the class learned how to prepare an assortment of waffles, followed by a broccoli frittata and an asparagus salad. The main course for the class were pistachio-crusted lamb chops, accompanied by sweet potato fritters and a strawberry and quinoa salad. For dessert, the class learned how to make a classic sheet cake in two flavors – lemon buttermilk and chocolate.
For this 40th birthday party, their was a slider bar featuring beef burgers, jalapeno chicken and sweet potato fries. Also, there was a flatbread station with Caesar salad and fresh focaccia and a Mediterranean station with chicken souvlaki, spanakopita, greek salad to-go boxes and pita with hummus and tzatziki.
Desserts for the celebration were cookie shots, boozie brownies and lemon bars.
